Day 1- Magic Kingdom and a little Epcot

After we got off the airplane and took the magical express to our room, we got checked in and got our cups for the week.  It didn't take long for the girls to ask to go to the swimming pool, but we had bigger plans in store! We were headed to the Magic Kingdom and then Epcot for a great kick off to our trip. The very first thing we did was ride It's a Small World, which they called "small town" the rest of the trip.  It was the first ride of our first trip, so we decided to make this a family tradition! Next, we were off to the Castle to meet their 2 original favorite princesses, Cinderella and Rapunzel.

Our resort- Coronado Springs

Mickey head waiting for us in the room

I can tell by Ryleigh Jane's face she is excited!

She saw the castle!!!

We saw Pluto as soon as we walked in the gate!

Sweet hugs

After we used those 2 fast passes, we found a few rides that weren't really busy and tried those out.  Mother Nature decided to be fun and give us a nice rainstorm, but we found out that Story Time with Belle is a great way to pass the time when that happens!

Here comes the rain!

They got chosen to be Mrs. Potts and Chip for the story

My dad got to be a knight

Before we headed to Epcot, we used our last fast pass to ride one of my favorites, Buzz Light Year. I think my dad beat me this round, but I got him back really good later in the week!

Our finale to the best first day in Disney was heading to Epcot to eat at the Mexican restaurant on the lake and watch fireworks.  We stopped at Nemo's ride first. It was Ryleigh Jane's favorite ride the first time we went!
